Description

A simple and flavorful crockpot meal with tender chicken breasts coated in a savory-sweet teriyaki sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas)
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Layer the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger, then stir well.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and add the chopped vegetables on top.
  4. Cover and let it cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and fork-tender.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken if desired and stir everything to mix the flavors before serving.
  6. Plate it over cooked rice or noodles and sprinkle with sesame seeds if you’d like.
