Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsps salt
- 2 1/2 tsps quick yeast (1 package)
- 1 1/3 cups warm water
- 2 large rosemary sprigs, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, diced
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and quick yeast.
- Gradually add warm water (not boiling!) and mix until your dough is sticky and shaggy.
- Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 60 minutes.
- Prepare your work surface with a piece of parchment paper and dust it with flour.
- Transfer the dough to the parchment and shape it into a ball by folding the edges over.
- Place the smooth side up, cover, and let it rest for another 20 minutes while preheating your Dutch oven to 450°F.
- Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven, transfer your dough in the parchment, and score the top with a knife.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
