  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll it out to about 1/2 inch thick.
  5. Cut the dough into squares or rectangles using a sharp knife or pastry cutter.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
