- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crock pot.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
- Top the chicken with the cream cheese.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Once done, use two forks to shred the chicken inside the crock pot, mixing it well with the cream cheese and ranch seasoning.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Adjust with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions on top.
Notes
Serve over rice, as a filling for sandwiches, or with tortilla chips as a dip. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for 3 months.
