Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta of choice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. In the last three minutes, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
  2. Drain and set aside the pasta and broccoli.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Toss the drained pasta and broccoli into the skillet with the garlic oil. Mix well, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and drizzle with fresh lemon juice just before serving. Enjoy!

Notes
