- 8 oz pasta of choice
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. In the last three minutes, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
- Drain and set aside the pasta and broccoli.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Toss the drained pasta and broccoli into the skillet with the garlic oil. Mix well, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Optional: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and drizzle with fresh lemon juice just before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
