- 2 lbs (907 grams) boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon chili pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 large lemon, juiced (about 2 tablespoons or 30 milliliters)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup (25 grams) grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) or your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the chicken thighs and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them into a sealable plastic container.
- In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, paprika, onion powder, oregano, chili flakes, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Pour three-quarters of the marinade over the chicken, seal the container, and massage the marinade into the chicken. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Place the marinated chicken thighs on a prepared baking sheet or air fryer basket. Bake for about 17–20 minutes or air fry for around 12 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Drizzle any reserved marinade over the cooked chicken before serving.
Notes
For a fluffier, crispier chicken, pat dry thoroughly and marinate longer. Feel free to experiment with different herbs and spices.
