A delightful twist on the classic pecan pie, these Easy Pecan Pie Bars are quick to make and perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish for the crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and then add the corn syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans and pour the mixture over the prepared crust.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden.
  7. Let the bars cool completely before cutting them into squares.
