Description

Ingredients

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • Olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface, then cut them into circles or squares to fit your baking dish.
  3. Place the pastry pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
  5. Meanwhile, heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the fresh spinach until wilted.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.
  7. Fold the sautéed spinach into the egg mixture.
  8. Carefully pour the spinach and egg blend into the baked pastry shells.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the eggs are firm and set.
