Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk well to ensure even distribution.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, vegetable oil, and egg until blended.
  4. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the fresh cranberries, orange zest, and chopped pecans.
  6. Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared muffin cups.
