			- 1½ cups all-purpose flour (180g)
 - ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (25g)
 - 2 tbsp granulated sugar (25g)
 - 2 tsp baking powder
 - ½ tsp baking soda
 - ¼ tsp salt
 - 1¼ cups milk (300ml)
 - 2 large eggs
 - ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted (60g)
 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
 - Optional: Black gel food coloring, whipped cream, sliced strawberries, mini chocolate chips, powdered sugar, candy eyes, maple syrup, Nutella or chocolate spread
 
Instructions
- Heat your waffle iron or bat-shaped mold and lightly grease with non-stick spray or butter.
 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk to mix.
 - In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and optional gel food coloring.
 - Combine the wet and dry ingredients, gently whisking until just combined.
 - Pour the batter into the preheated mold or waffle iron and cook for 3–5 minutes until firm and crisp.
 - If not using a mold, let the waffles cool slightly and cut with a bat-shaped cookie cutter.
 - Serve warm with toppings like whipped cream, candy eyes, or syrup.
