- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set it to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the fillets: Pat to dry, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Place on a lined baking sheet.
- Make the garlic butter sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in garlic, and sauté. Add lemon juice, zest, parsley, paprika, and Parmesan.
- Combine and bake: Pour the sauce over the tilapia and bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Garnish and serve: Top with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon.
