Description
A luxurious ribeye steak drizzled with rich, creamy Parmesan sauce, perfect for special occasions or an indulgent weeknight meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter until bubbling.
- Add the seasoned steaks to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
- Flip the steaks using tongs, then add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Lower the heat and add the heavy cream to the same skillet, whisking continuously to deglaze the pan. Add the grated Parmesan and whisk until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Slice the steaks, place them on plates, and drizzle the Parmesan cream sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the steak before cooking. Serve with sides like arugula salad or creamy polenta.
