Description
Indulge in the richness of ribeye steaks seared to perfection and topped with a creamy Parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
- When the butter is melted and bubbling, add the steaks. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
- Flip the steaks using tongs, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, and cook for another 4-5 minutes for a perfect medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
- Lower the heat, add heavy cream to the same skillet, and continuously whisk to incorporate any browned bits.
- Add the Parmesan cheese, whisking until the sauce thickens (about 3-4 minutes). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice the steaks, plate them, and drizzle the Parmesan cream sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Serve with roasted vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
