Description
A mouth-watering ribeye steak topped with a rich, creamy Parmesan sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick, approx. 8 oz each)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add the steaks once the butter is melted and bubbling. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
- Flip the steaks using tongs, add the remaining butter and minced garlic into the skillet, then cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to medium in the same skillet and add the heavy cream, whisking continuously to deglaze and incorporate the browned bits.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and whisk until thickened, about 3-4 minutes. Adjust with salt and pepper as needed.
- Slice the rested steaks, plate them, and drizzle the creamy Parmesan sauce over the top. Finish with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for garnish.
Notes
For the best results, use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. Aim for about 130°F for medium-rare.
