Description
A deliciously rich and creamy steak dish featuring perfectly seared ribeye steaks in a luscious garlic Parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks generously on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Place the seasoned steaks in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
- Flip the steaks using tongs, then add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook an additional 4-5 minutes for a medium-rare finish.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream, whisking continuously to incorporate the browned bits from the bottom.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese, whisking until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Slice the steaks, plate them, and drizzle the creamy Parmesan sauce on top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
For serving, pair with garlic mashed potatoes or a fresh salad. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness, and consider flavor variations like sautéed mushrooms.
