  • Pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks generously on both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Place the seasoned steaks in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  4. Flip the steaks using tongs, then add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook an additional 4-5 minutes for a medium-rare finish.
  5. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream, whisking continuously to incorporate the browned bits from the bottom.
  7. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, whisking until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  8. Slice the steaks, plate them, and drizzle the creamy Parmesan sauce on top. Garnish with chopped parsley.
