- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- 3/4 cup warm water

- Fresh herbs (like cilantro or parsley), chopped
- Additional melted butter for brushing
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add the yogurt and gradually mix in warm water, stirring until a dough begins to form.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it’s smooth and soft.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 1 hour.
- After resting, divide the dough into equal portions according to your desired naan size.
- Roll each portion into a flat, round shape about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat – no oil needed.
- Place the naan onto the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped herbs. Brush this aromatic mixture over the hot naan.
- Serve immediately and enjoy with your favorite dishes!
