Crispy, cheesy potato wedges seasoned with garlic and Parmesan, perfect as a side dish or appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large potatoes (Russet)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges, ensuring they are similar in size for even cooking.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika until thoroughly coated.
- Spread the seasoned wedges on a baking sheet in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes. Flip them halfway through for maximum crispiness.
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove your wedges from the oven.
- Immediately sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the hot wedges and return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
- If desired, garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.
Notes
For extra crispiness, soak potato wedges in water for 30 minutes before baking. Adjust seasonings to taste and explore different cheese options for variety.
