- 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined (or frozen, thawed)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Rinse and prepare the shrimp, pat dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add the shrimp to a large mixing bowl and pour the marinade over. Toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lay the shrimp on a parchment-lined baking tray in a single layer.
- Roast for 10-12 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque, being careful not to overcook.
Notes
Allowing the shrimp to marinate for even just 15 minutes can deepen the flavors.
