Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined (or frozen, thawed)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Rinse and prepare the shrimp, pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  3. Add the shrimp to a large mixing bowl and pour the marinade over. Toss until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lay the shrimp on a parchment-lined baking tray in a single layer.
  5. Roast for 10-12 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque, being careful not to overcook.

Notes

Allowing the shrimp to marinate for even just 15 minutes can deepen the flavors.
