Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks and salted caramel.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature butter and avoid overmixing the dough. Store cookies in an airtight container.
