Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lay the flank steak flat on a cutting board and season it generously with salt and pepper.
- Combine the bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, minced garlic, and a drizzle of olive oil in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Spread this mixture evenly over the steak, then roll it up tightly from one end to the other.
- Secure the roll with kitchen twine or toothpicks to hold everything together.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the roll on all sides until browned.
- Transfer the roll to a baking dish.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the top, ensuring it covers the roll completely.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing, and serve with extra sauce drizzled on top.
