Description

A warm, gooey dip made with roasted garlic, creamy cheeses, and aromatic herbs, perfect for sharing at gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 heads Garlic (trimmed tops and roasted)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (for roasting garlic)
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (divide for mixing and topping)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (chopped for garnish)
  • 1 package Crostini or Crackers (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Drizzle the trimmed garlic heads with olive oil, wrap them in foil, and roast for about 30-35 minutes until soft and caramelized.
  2. Once cooled, squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a mixing bowl. Add the cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, half of the Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Blend everything until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spoon the mixture into an oven-safe dish. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan on top for a cheesy crust.
  4. Place it in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until it’s golden and bubbling. Ensure it’s nice and hot throughout!
  5. Take it out and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with crostini or your cracker of choice.

Notes

This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge. Reheat before serving. For a twist, add spinach or jalapeños.
