Description

A delicious fusion of a cheesy grilled cheese sandwich and a hearty burrito, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 8–10 minutes. Drain excess grease and add taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for around 5 minutes.
  2. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat and layer with a scoop of cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella.
  4. Preheat a skillet with shredded cheese, place the burrito seam-side down, and grill for 3–4 minutes per side until crispy.

Notes

Wrap leftovers tightly in foil or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet for best results.
