- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 hoagie rolls
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for sautéing
Instructions
- Heat a splash of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and sauté until they become caramelized and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Incorporate the ground beef into the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the beef is fully cooked, lay the provolone cheese slices on top and cover to let it melt.
- Meanwhile, toast the hoagie rolls in another skillet or in the oven until golden brown.
- Once everything is ready, fill each toasted roll with the beef and cheesy mixture.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the amazing flavors!
