- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable or olive oil
Instructions
- Prep: Wash and chop the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Mince the garlic and ginger. Slice the green onions.
- Cook Chicken: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground chicken, breaking it apart, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Add Veggies: Push chicken to the side, add garlic, ginger, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until broccoli is vibrant yet crunchy.
- Sauce It Up: Pour in soy sauce and drizzle with sesame oil. Stir to coat everything, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Finish Up: Turn off the heat, sprinkle with green onions and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Serve over rice or noodles, or with cauliflower rice for a lighter option. Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored for 2-3 days.
