A delightful treat that combines brownies and cookies for a festive Halloween dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup festive candies (e.g., candy corn, M&M’s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend the dry mixture into the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and festive candies.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
