- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 package of party rye bread
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage along with the chopped onion over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and garlic powder until combined.
- Add the cheddar cheese, mixing until it’s melted and evenly incorporated into the mixture.
- Spread the meat mixture generously onto slices of the party rye bread.
- Arrange the assembled appetizers on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
