Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 package of party rye bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage along with the chopped onion over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and garlic powder until combined.
  4. Add the cheddar cheese, mixing until it’s melted and evenly incorporated into the mixture.
  5. Spread the meat mixture generously onto slices of the party rye bread.
  6. Arrange the assembled appetizers on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy the compliments!

Notes
