Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Optional: Sliced tomatoes
- Optional: Crispy bacon
Instructions
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, creating a pocket for the cheese.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and spread butter generously inside each roll’s halves.
- Place the bottom halves of the rolls on the skillet and fill with shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
- Press down with the top halves to snugly contain the cheese.
- Grill for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and repeat on the other side.
- Once both sides are crispy and the cheese has melted, remove from heat, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
