Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup erythritol or another sugar substitute
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: almond flour, coconut flour, erythritol, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine the unsweetened applesauce and egg to make the wet mixture.
  3. Merge the wet and dry mixtures, stirring until a uniform dough forms.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Scoop out small amounts of dough, roll into bite-sized balls, and spray each with cooking spray.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then roll in erythritol and cinnamon before serving.

Notes

Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes before shaping for better texture. For nut-free options, substitute almond flour with seed flour.
