  • 1/2 cup water
  • Cooking spray or oil for air frying
  • Melted coconut oil for coating
  • Additional cinnamon sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, sweetener, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the water and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to get it ready for the churros.
  4. Shape the dough into small bites—around the size of a marble works well!
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with a little cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the churro bites in the basket, ensuring they have space to expand, and cook at 350°F for 10-12 minutes. Flip halfway through to ensure they cook evenly and become golden brown.
  7. Once cooked, immediately coat the churro bites with melted coconut oil and sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
  8. Serve these delicious bites warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a nut-free option, substitute almond flour with sunflower seed flour. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for longer storage.
