Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, butter, and sugar. Stir until it reaches a gentle boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and quickly stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt until a dough forms.
- Allow the dough to cool for a few minutes, then roll it into small bite-sized pieces.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Place the churro bites in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch.
- Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crisp.
- While the churro bites are cooking, mix additional sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Once cooked, toss the churro bites immediately in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
