A simple, fun, and healthy snack that kids love, made with apples, nut butter, and chocolate chips.
Ingredients

- 5 apples (Gala, Honeycrisp, or Fuji recommended)
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (or almond butter or nut butter of your choice)
- 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
Instructions
- Wash the apples well and dry them.
- Slice the apples into thin wedges.
- Melt the nut butter slightly in the microwave or on the stove.
- Layer the apple slices on a plate.
- Drizzle half of the melted nut butter over the apples.
- Sprinkle dairy-free chocolate chips evenly over the layer.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining apples, nut butter, and chocolate chips.
- Serve immediately while the apples are crisp.
Notes
For a nut-free version, use sunflower seed butter or pumpkin seed butter. Store leftover apple nachos in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 hours.
