- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter until smooth.
- Stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
- If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread brownie batter evenly into prepared pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely before transferring to a cutting board.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped brownies. Enjoy!
