Description

Ingredients

  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Heat milk and butter together until warm. Stir in the yeast and let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and egg; stir to mix.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour, covered.
  6. Roll the dough into a rectangle; spread melted butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  7. Roll tightly and cut into heart shapes.
  8. Arrange on a baking sheet; let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  10. Drizzle icing over warm rolls.
