A delightful and easy-to-make Italian herb focaccia that fills your kitchen with warmth and incredible flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (such as rosemary, thyme, or basil)
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast. Mix well.
  2. Gradually add in the warm water and olive oil while mixing until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1-2 hours or until it has doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Once the dough has risen, transfer it to a baking sheet. Flatten it gently with your fingers to create dimples all over.

  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the focaccia is golden brown.
  9. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
