- 1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1 cup crumbled, cooked ground sausage (mild or spicy)
- 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles, drained
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
- Crackers, tortilla chips, or bread slices for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a medium baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
- In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbly. Drain any excess grease.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.
- Mix in the cheddar, pepper jack, crumbled sausage, diced green chiles, Worcestershire sauce, and all seasonings until well combined.
- Spread the dip mixture evenly in the prepared dish. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- If desired, garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with your choice of crackers, tortilla chips, or bread slices.
Notes
To make a lighter version, substitute with turkey sausage and low-fat ingredients.
