- 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy)
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (10 oz) can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies), drained
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley or green onions (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until brown and crumbly, then drain excess grease.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sour cream, stirring until smooth.
- Add the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar, shredded mozzarella, Rotel, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix thoroughly.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions and serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted baguette slices.
Notes
