- 4 medium potatoes, sliced thinly
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the diced onion until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- In a generously sized baking dish, create a layer of sliced potatoes.
- Add the cooked ground beef mixture on top of the potatoes.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup evenly over the layers.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the entire casserole.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
- Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving and enjoy!
