- 2 large apples (any variety, recommended: Honeycrisp or Fuji)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C).
- Thinly slice the apples to about 1/8-inch for the best crispiness.
- Mix together the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
- Toss the apple slices in lemon juice, then sprinkle the cinnamon mixture over them.
- Lay the apple slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 1-2 hours, flipping halfway through until they are dry and crisp.
- Allow the chips to cool completely before storing.
Notes
For a sugar-free version, omit the sugar. Store in an airtight container to keep fresh.
