Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons Black tea (loose leaf or bags)
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
- 3 Cloves
- 4 Cardamom pods, crushed
- Sugar or honey (to taste)
- 2 cups Milk (dairy or non-dairy alternatives)
Instructions
- Boil the water in a saucepan.
- Add the cinnamon stick, ginger, cloves, and crushed cardamom pods once boiling. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Brew the black tea leaves or bags and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Sweeten the mixture with sugar or honey, then remove from heat.
- Incorporate the milk slowly and return to low heat, avoiding boiling.
- Strain the tea into mugs, discarding the solid spices and tea leaves. Serve hot or iced.
Notes
