Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Chop the chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it simmers.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and allow it to sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and stir until smooth and glossy.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours until firm.
  6. Once set, form small balls from the mixture.
  7. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or your choice of toppings.
  8. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
