- 1 package of pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Olive oil (for brushing)
- Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into rectangles about 4×6 inches.
- On one side of each rectangle, add a spoonful of pizza sauce, then sprinkle on mozzarella cheese, followed by pepperoni and additional toppings as desired.
- Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges using a fork.
- Place the pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with a beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
