A quick and delicious Honey Garlic Chicken recipe featuring succulent chicken thighs or breasts in a sweet and savory glaze.

- 4 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through.
- In a separate bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger (if using).
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pan and set it aside.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture into the same pan and allow it to simmer for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Return the chicken to the pan, ensuring it’s well coated in the sauce.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with a bit of water and add to the pan. Stir continuously until thickened.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving warm.
Notes
To enhance flavor, marinate chicken in the honey garlic mixture for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Serve with rice or veggies.
