A warm, fudgy dessert that combines rich brownie and gooey pudding for a decadent treat.

- ½ pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon espresso powder (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar for about 5–10 minutes until the mixture is pale and thick.
- Stir in the melted butter and vanilla extract until combined.
- Sift together cocoa powder, flour, espresso powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gently fold this dry mixture into the egg mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- To create a water bath, place your baking dish inside a larger pan and pour hot water around it to about halfway up the sides.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes until the top is set and crisp while the center remains soft.
- Allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh berries for an extra treat.
