Ingredients

  • 1 head Cauliflower Florets
  • 1 head Broccoli Florets (lightly steamed)
  • 12 oz Sliced Smoked Sausage
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 medium Onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened.
  3. Add the sliced smoked sausage to the skillet, cooking until heated through.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese and heavy whipping cream until smooth.
  5. Combine the steamed broccoli and cauliflower with the sausage in the skillet, then pour the cream mixture over.
  6. Stir in 1.5 cups of shredded cheese, reserving the rest for topping.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

Serve with fresh herbs and a side salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
