- 1 head Cauliflower Florets
- 1 head Broccoli Florets (lightly steamed)
- 12 oz Sliced Smoked Sausage
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 medium Onion (diced)
- 2 cloves Minced Garlic
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened.
- Add the sliced smoked sausage to the skillet, cooking until heated through.
- In a bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese and heavy whipping cream until smooth.
- Combine the steamed broccoli and cauliflower with the sausage in the skillet, then pour the cream mixture over.
- Stir in 1.5 cups of shredded cheese, reserving the rest for topping.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
Serve with fresh herbs and a side salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
