Description

A delicious, hearty dish made with tender chicken breasts simmered in savory gravy, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet of gravy mix (your choice of flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Set your Instant Pot to ‘Sauté’ mode and add olive oil.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Brown the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden.
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  5. Pour chicken broth into the pot and scrape up any browned bits.
  6. Stir in the gravy mix until well combined.
  7. Return chicken to the pot, ensuring it’s submerged in gravy.
  8. Close the lid, set valve to ‘Sealing’, and cook on ‘Manual’ for 10 minutes.
  9. Allow for a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  10. Remove the chicken, shred if desired, and serve topped with gravy.

Notes

For a twist, consider adding sautéed onions or garlic to the gravy!
