Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until blended.
  2. Place the chicken in the Instant Pot, pouring the sauce over it to coat thoroughly.
  3. Secure the lid and set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  4. After cooking, allow for a natural release for 5 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  5. Carefully remove the chicken and set it aside. Switch the Instant Pot to sauté mode and let the sauce thicken for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve the chicken drizzled with the sauce, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Substituting chicken thighs for breasts can add juiciness. Use low-sodium soy sauce for a healthier option.
