Description

Easy and creamy homemade yogurt made effortlessly with your Instant Pot.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups of milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt (with live active cultures)
  • Toppings: fresh blueberries, granola, sweetener (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour the milk into the Instant Pot and select the ‘Yogurt’ function.
  2. Heat the milk until it reaches 180°F (82°C).
  3. Let the milk cool to 110°F (43°C).
  4. In a small bowl, mix the plain yogurt with a bit of the cooled milk until smooth.
  5. Stir the yogurt mixture back into the milk in the Instant Pot.
  6. Close the lid and select the ‘Yogurt’ function to incubate for 8 to 12 hours.
  7. After incubation, transfer the yogurt to containers and refrigerate for several hours to set.
  8. Serve with your choice of toppings.

Notes

Use a food thermometer for accurate temperature control. Customize your batch with different toppings or flavors.
