- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 4 cups cut green beans (fresh, canned, or frozen)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 1/3 cups crispy French fried onions, divided
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Fold in the cut green beans until fully coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of crispy fried onions on top.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with the remaining 1/3 cup of fried onions.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.
Notes
For a twist, consider using cream of celery or cheddar cheese soup. Low-fat milk can be used for a lighter option.
