Description
Delicious bite-sized truffles combining classic tiramisu flavors of coffee, chocolate, and creamy mascarpone.
Ingredients

			- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
 - 1/2 cup strong brewed espresso, cooled
 - 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
 - 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
 - 8 oz dark chocolate, melted
 - Cocoa powder for dusting
 
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
 - Gently fold in the cooled espresso and coffee liqueur (if using).
 - Add the chocolate cookie crumbs and mix until well combined.
 - Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes until firm.
 - Once firm, scoop out tablespoon-sized balls and roll them into truffles.
 - Dip each truffle in melted dark chocolate, then place them on a baking sheet.
 - Refrigerate again until the chocolate sets.
 - Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
 
Notes
Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
