  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Chives, freshly chopped
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat a skillet over medium heat for frying.
  2. In a large bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and egg until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the lump crab meat, chives, and Old Bay seasoning.
  4. Add in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until evenly distributed.
  5. Shape the mixture into small, uniform bites or patties.
  6. Roll each cake in the panko breadcrumbs to coat completely.
  7. Place the crab cakes on a greased baking sheet or in the skillet once hot. Bake for about 20 minutes or fry until golden brown and crispy, usually about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Serve hot with the zesty lemon-dill sauce on the side.
